Our free no frills membership.  This option allows you access to the forum, but you will not have access to the blog section where all the interesting trip reports are discussed and displayed, and you will not receive the society's journal, nor the newsletter.

The membership option for those who wish to support the society financially by an increased subscription fee.  It allows you access to all the sections on the website, and includes the 4 issues of the society's journal, Metamorphosis.

This plan is for members who do not wish to receive the society's journal, Metamorphosis, but who would like to use the blog feature, receive the newsletter and be kept informed about the society's activities.

Red Data Book

The society is currently working on a revised edition of the Red Data Book on South African Butterflies.  It will be published by SANBI, but will only be available in the near future.

Public Awareness

VM iconOne of LepSoc's and SABCA's goals is to increase public awareness about butterflies, using the virtual museum!  In the VM members of the public can send in photographs for an expert panel to ID.  For more information, click here!
