Notification of Conference and call for Papers 2011
 Come and join your fellow Lepidopterists. Interact, have fun, learn, talk and listen!
We are holding what promises to be the biggest and most exciting Conference for years, with public participation and lots of activities.
The theme for this conference is:
“Turning People on to Lepidoptera.”
Papers outside of this theme will be accepted although preference will be given to those papers specifically related to the theme.
The venue is the Conference Centre, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Cape Town.
Dates – 23-25 September 2011.
We are hoping for a really top class set of papers this year, covering everything from illustrated talks about expeditions, to research papers. But most of all we want to hear about how we can get our message across to the nature-loving public and persuade them to join our cause!
If, as we hope, you are planning to present a paper at the Conference, please draft an Abstract and send it to Jeff Crocombe at crocombej@hbc.ac.za.
Deadline for Abstracts is 30 June 2011, and for Papers 30 August 2011.
