The photo of this butterfly was taken at Highlands Wilderness near Bela Bela. Now what is it?
Acraea stenobea (Suffused Acraea) or
Acraea lygus (Lygus Acraea). I find these two species difficult to separate, although I am leaning towards lygus, while it is rarer it has been recorded on the farm previously. But then again I may be waaaaaaaaaaay off the mark again.
